Personal Finance Magazine Subscription

Question: Best subscription magazines for Young Adults for x-mas?
Please provide some insight and experience to the best magazines available for young adults/college age in money, investing, entrepreneurship, personal finance etc….
Thanks.
Answer: First of all, I would suggest that you hurry. Most magazine subscriptions take several weeks to process the requests. The website below is for Junior Achievement, an organization that works with entrepreneural teens and tweens. Contact them for referrals of such books and magazines but get on it TODAY.
Edited Note: I did find there was a magazine called “Zillions” that was produced by Consumer Reports but cannot find information on current subscriptions so it may longer be published. Ask your librarian about this title. If no such magazines are in publication it may be worthwhile to find someone interested in publishing such a magazine. There is definately a market for young people to learn about the topics you are inquiring about.

Question: Help me decide from a few topics — Which book should I write?
Hi! I am going to write another book, this time a non-fiction ebook. I am constantly taking notes on various topics (and I write lots of non-fiction articles), but can’t decide between a few topics. I’ll eventually write them all, but deciding which one to write first is incredibly difficult for some reason.
My topics:
*Budgeting to save lots of money
*Starting a successful small business online
*Running a successful web development company
*Increasing the exposure of your online business
*Finding a job in the IT industry (resumes & interviewing etc)
*Making money online without investing anything
*Saving money on your college education
*Unique college situations and how to deal with them
As you can tell, I’m a huge business and personal finance geek.
I make all of my money online, but I want to avoid making a cheesy “make millions online” book. I have yet to make a million dollars, but I do make a living online and I’m very experienced.
Any thoughts?
Answer: Great, another e-book!
I have several thousand e-books; some were freebies, many I paid to be gored by the writer for more money.
Most just want you to resell their e-book.
My worst disaster was one I paid $100 for a “course” to market my product. It turned out to be a course in joining and MLM’ing the writers own down line.
Try as I might I could NOT customize the “marketing” she wrote about to market my own product. It only worked for her product.
There was no refund forthcoming.
If you write a book, actually show the people step by step, how to actually market their own product, what ever it may be, with a GUIDELINE containing footnoted suggestions that hint with examples.
Write that, and I will recommend it to my students.
